I thought I knew who I was... [Oct. 24th, 2008|06:33 pm]

[Current Mood |determineddetermined]

I'm reminded of nothing so much as the time that Milwaukee's former police-chief-for-life Harold Breier announced that the only people who opposed his iron rule were "Negro homosexual communists"! Cicatrice turned to me and said deadpan, "You never told me you were black!"

Rep. Robin Hayes (R-N.C.) has conceded that he did tell a North Carolina crowd that "liberals hate real Americans that work and accomplish and achieve and believe in God," even though he initially denied making such a statement.

Hayes' comment came the day after Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) told MSNBC's Chris Matthews that the media should investigate which members of Congress are "anti-America" and which are "pro-America."
In Greensboro, N.C., Sara Palin had said at a recent rally that "we believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard-working, very patriotic, pro-America areas of this great nation."

Hayes, Bachmann and Palin et al. are leaving me very much tempted to highly un-Christian replies of "FOAD!" or equivalent, on behalf of me and all the other genuinely hard-working, very patriotic, pro-America people that work and accomplish and achieve, whether (like me) they believe in God, or don't, and who are working our hardest to keep these people and their cohorts in idiocy out of office.

Voter registration [Oct. 2nd, 2008|11:24 am]
Wisconsin Democrats

If you haven't registered to vote yet, you can do so at the polls on November 3rd. But please, don't wait until then. For every presidential election since 1992, there have been long lines at the polling places on election day. So if you can register earlier, it makes sense to do it.

Georgia [Aug. 11th, 2008|02:06 pm]
Wisconsin Democrats
Hi, this video is directed to an American public and the rest of civilized Western world. I am a Russian citizen, I live in United States for a long time, for over 10 years. I happened to be in Russia now and I caught all this "action" that's taking place in South Ossetia, a region in Georgia. I never posted on youtube, but I couldn't hold myself from doing it now. I had to do this.
My message to American public is meant as a wake up call. American and other Western media especially CNN is feeding you complete horse shit! Russia did not invade and did not attack Georgia. It was a response to a horrible war crime committed by Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili, this irresponsible man who just can't stand Russia, hates us, and will kiss America's and Europe's ass just to get a chance to join NATO and European Union. America has always supported Georgian "democracy" and I suspect actually that it was America who instigated Georgia to commit this crime.... on the first day of Olympics! How ironic is that? But please don't take this allegation too close heartedly, my point is not about whether or not U.S. government had any role in this, my point is to give you truth about what really happened Thursday night

So again, Russia did not invade or attack Georgia, as your media outlets are saying.

A brief geography and history lesson. South Ossetia is a very small region about 40 miles by 40 miles in the northern Georgia. It's population is around 70000 people. It borders with Russia. Today, many of the residents of South Ossetia are Russian citizens holding Russian passports, it's our people. South Ossetia had claimed independence from Georgia in 1992. Obviously it was never recognized by any international organizations. In 2006, they held an election where 99% of the voters supported independence from Georgia, and the turn out rate was 95%, it was monitored by a team of 34 international observers from the West. It still was not recognized by the world. As an analogy I would like to bring Kosovo situation, Serbian region in the south that was illegally snatched from Serbia and made into an independent country. Please look it up on Wikipedia and see how similar this situation is. How ironic is that America never supported Southern Ossetia same way it supported Kosovo. Obviously, it was made to show Russia how unfriendly the rest of the world is towards us.

Thursday night, Georgian military started an attack against South Ossetia. It was yesterday. They shelled the main city of Tshinkvali. They killed over a 1000 people. The excuse was to "restore the constitutional order in the region". BULLSHIT! This attack was an attempt to commit "ethnic cleansing", it was an act of genocide. They shelled civilian houses, schools, hospitals, without any warning. They also captured several villages near Tshinkvali. Reports say that they attempt to kill anyone of the Ossetian nationality. It was a pure act of Genocide. Wake up!

Russia couldn't watch this atrocity happening to its own citizens. We had no choice but to bring in our military into the region and protect our people. Whatever happens next the world needs to know, that the cause of this conflict is Georgia and its president. Before you accept what your media tells you, before you get fired up by McCains irresponsible allegations and comments, try remember all the lies that American media had always fed you, try to read news from other media outlets, not russian, but other parts of the world, other than U.S. or U.K.'s media.

America needs to wake up and stop doing what it's doing. Stop seeing an enemy in Russia. Stop using countries like Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Estonia who are basically acting like prostitutes of U.S. government in their public acts of hatred towards Russia.

And finally need to say, Mr. SSHAshvili that's how we like to call him. S.SH.A stands for U.S.A in Russian. Mr. SSHAshvili will pay for what happened yesterday.

What are you doing this weekend? 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk [Aug. 6th, 2008|08:07 pm]
Wisconsin Democrats

My girlfriend Julie is participating in the 3 day Breast Cancer Walk, which is being held in Chicago and thirteen cities across the US this year.

Julie will walk 20 miles on Friday while most of us are working, she will walk 20 miles on Saturday while most of us are running errands or enjoying the day at our leisure, and on Sunday she will walk 20 miles while most of us are relaxing and spending time with loved ones.

I'm proud to say that this weekend, August 8th-10th, my girlfriend Julie will walk 60 miles in 3 days for the women who are fighting for their lives against breast cancer while the rest of us are hoping for a cure.

Please consider donating to this heroic cause for the people in your life who have been affected by breast cancer and for the people who will be affected if this disease isn't cured.

Please visit her donation page by clicking on the image below:

I'm running as an Obama delegate in the 4th CD [Mar. 27th, 2008|09:52 pm]
Wisconsin Democrats

I've just filed my papers to run for Obama delegate to the Denver DNC from the 4th Congressional District. I'm hoping that any of you who know me and are Obama supporters (or, for that matter, disappointed Edwards, Kucinich, etc. supporters) will come to the County caucus on the 6th of April and give me your support. The caucus runs from noon to 2 p.m., and will be at the Laborer's Hall (6310 W. Appleton, I believe).

Clintons ad has a bold face lie in it [Feb. 18th, 2008|07:43 am]

Clintons t.v. commercial claims that Obama want's to raise the retirement age and reduce benefits.. Hmmm couldn't find any evidence to support it. In fact found the opposite.

* FactCheck: Removing $97,500 cap would be $1.3T tax increase. (Nov 2007)
* Cutting benefits & raising retirement age are wrong answers. (Nov 2007)
* The wealthy should pay a bit more on the payroll tax. (Oct 2007)
* Privatization puts retirement at whim of stock market. (Sep 2007)
* Stop any efforts to privatize Social Security. (Aug 2007)
* No privatization; but consider earning cap over $97,500. (Jul 2007)
* Stock market risk is ok, but not for Social Security. (Oct 2006)
* $2000 tax credit for Working Families Savings Accounts. (Jul 2004)
* Voted NO on establishing reserve funds & pre-funding for Social Security. (Mar 2007)

Bad form DNC [Feb. 15th, 2008|10:10 am]
Wisconsin Democrats

So here is the deal. Michigan and Florida moved up their primaries. The DNC said their delegates wouldn't be seated. Sucks for Florida their primary was moved up because the republican Gov passed a law against democratic opposition. So Florida democrats got screwed by the Repubicans then by their national party. Both Obama and Clinton were on the ballot in Florida.
Michigan is a different matter. Obama was not on the ballot there. Also the democrats were complicit in changing the primary. Gov. Jennifer Granholm worked to move the primary up. So the Dems in Mi screwed themselves.

Easy answers elude Mich., Fla. delegates

At the 2008 Democratic National Convention the superdelegates will make up approximately one-fifth of the total number of delegates. They are not obliged to cast their vote according to any caucus or polling. They can vote for who ever they want. Most have declared for Clinton.

For you folks in WI, Baldwin has declared for Clinton...regardless of who her district votes for (NICE!)

if you want to know how and why the super delegate system was set up look here

this is going to be a nightmare...
Democrats and liberals have been bitching about diebold and undemocratic election shenanigans for 4 years now. People still scream about it. So all these folks whipped into frenzy over election rigging are going to just love this. People are going to be really pissed as the primary comes down to super delegates who don't reflect the polls of any district, and a rules committee decision about FL and MI...

With help like this from the democrats the republicans might win the general election.

Good plan DNC I think the green party will get a boost from this stupidity
